Environmental Information, Awareness, Capacity Building and Livelihood Program Center (EIACP) at National Botanical Research Institute celebrated “World Environment Day” on 5th June 2023 in collaboration with Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Government Girls Degree College and was hosted at the auditorium of NSCB.
The theme of World Environment Day 2023 was "#Beat Plastic Pollution".
The programme was started with a welcome address by Prof. Rashmi Bishnoi, Principal (Incharge) of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Government Girls Degree College. Dr. Pankaj Kumar Srivastava, Coordinator of NBRI EIACP Programme Centre and Senior Principal Scientist, CSIR NBRI Lucknow oriented students about Mission LiFE and activities of NBRI-EIACP Programme Centre.
The Chief Guest of the programme was "Prof. Dhruv Sen Singh" Professor in Geology and Director at the Institute of Hydrocarbon Energy and Geo-resources, University of Lucknow, who enlightened the students about real facts about climate change and human-induced climate change.
