For empowering women by providing skills in income generating activities, one day workshop was organized on March 27, 2014 on dehydrated floral crafts technology under CSIR-Rural Development programme. The CSIR-800 team of CSIR-NBRIcommitted all possible help and support for the women of weaker section, who wish to take-up this activity.The programme was inaugurated by Dr. AK Goel, Chief Scientist and coordinated by Dr.SK Tewari and supported by Drs.Devendra singh and R C Nainwal, Scientists. Twenty-five participants were provided hands on training to develop confidence regarding adoptability of the technique.
