ENVIS RP-NBRI celebrated ‘World Environment Day’-2020
ENVIS RP-NBRI celebrated ‘World Environment Day’ on 5th June, 2020. This year, the theme is “Biodiversity–a concern Time for Nature”. Due to amid COVID-19 situation, the day was celebrated through digital mode. An online competition for school children in different categories viz., Essay Writing, Poster and Cartoon was organised. The target group was categorised into two groups (i.) from class 5th to 8th and (ii.) from class 9th to 12th.
On this occasion Prof. SK Barik Director, CSIR-NBRI addressed the importance of Biodiversity and needs of its conservation. Prof. Barik emphasised the Indian Biodiversity Hotspots and its ecological importance. ENVIS-RP releases following knowledge-based products on the occasion;
